Cool shoes and Power wheels!

Sunday we decided to try real shoes on the kids...they have been barefoot since May. We thought that they might rebel, but they actually loved their shoes. They now wear their shoes all day, with the exception of their naps. They get the happiest looks on their faces when I put their shoes on, it cracks me up. So here are some pictures of the boys in their new shoes.

It is so hard to get a decent picture of them anymore...but the focal point of this picture is the shoes...so keep that in mind....

Dan's friend from work, Rusty, gave us two power wheel vehicles that used to belong to his little boy. I think that we got these when the boys were about 6 months old. We thought that these would be great for the boys when they got older...I thought that they would be much older before they tried them out...but last night we put them in them to see what they would do. Much to Dan's delight, they loved the cars! We took turns at first, putting them in the red car because it has a bar that attaches to it so that you can power/steer the car without having to break your back. But they got so upset about taking turns with the car that we brought out the jeep. The jeep does not have the bar feature, so you have to squat beside them the entire ride...Dan and I rotated this so that we could save our backs. It was a mini Indy 500 in our garage last night... and it really did feel like 500 laps....but it was worth it to see their little grins as they drove around the track.
