This past weekend we went to Hilton Head to visit Allison and the Grands. Allison ran a 5K in Bluffton on Saturday morning. We got up early and went to watch her race. She did really well-2nd in her age group!

After the race we went back to her house so that the boys could take a nap. After nap time we went to the beach- Allison lives only a block from the beach, which is awesome! We played at the beach for a while, the boys enjoyed pushing their strollers along the beach. Isaiah saw a little boy playing with toys beside us, he decided to walk over and make friends, he really likes toys...

Grandmother Great and Granddaddy Great came down from Newport News, VA on Saturday afternoon. Grandmother Great had received a week long vacation at the Disney Resort in Hilton Head as part of her retirement present last year. The place where they were staying was really beautiful! We had a great time with them and they enjoyed watching the boys try to destroy everything. We went on several walks to Shelter Cove Marina, drooling over the huge yachts. It was great to see everyone, Allison was a gracious host and we are so thankful to have such a wonderful family!

it was so wonderful seeing you, Dan and the boys. it was such a great encouragement to spend time with you. thanks for all the pictures you took. it was a memorable weekend for sure :)

ohhh and the weekends are too short because its on the last day that the boys finally start to warm up to me and then you leave and they forget all about me haha
